Development Moving Forward with Retro Studios
The highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed Metroid Prime series is still in development for the Nintendo Switch system. "Metroid Prime 4" has been in the works since 2017, but development was rebooted in 2019 with Retro Studios taking over the project.
Nintendo has remained tight-lipped about the game's progress since the reboot, but industry insiders suggest that assets for the game may be ready by May 2024. An official release date has yet to be announced.
