Connecting to Wi-Fi on Apple Devices
iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
To connect your iOS device to a Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Toggle the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position.
- Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
- If the network is password-protected, enter the password and tap Join.
Troubleshooting:
- Make sure your router is turned on and that you are within range.
- If you are too far from your Wi-Fi router, try moving closer.
- If you are still having trouble connecting, try restarting your device.
Mac
To connect your Mac to a Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
- Click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
- Click on Network.
- Select Wi-Fi from the sidebar.
- Click on the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
- If the network is password-protected, enter the password and click Join.
Troubleshooting:
